My name is India!
I am a telehealth private pay practice owner in Maryland.
When I opened my business in 2019, I had a 2 year old and desperately needed work/life balance to avoid complete burnout. Working evenings, weekends and holidays did not work for me anymore, so I left my dream job with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Exactly 4 years later, I reached the 20k monthly revenue mark and found ways to run a laid back business that works for my lifestyle.
In the DMV area, solo practitioners that are exclusively private pay can easily bring in over $10k each month in revenue without seeing more than 15 clients each week.
